If you’re using Office 365 and the Outlook app for your mobile device, you may have contacts you’ve created over time (or imported from elsewhere) that you’d like to have access to on your phone or tablet. By default the Outlook app does not sync your contacts from your Office 365 account, use this article to enable synchronization so you have access to those contacts on your mobile device.

  1. Open the Outlook app
  2. From your Inbox, tap the 3 horizontal lines icon in the top left
  3. From the menu that opens, tap the gear icon in the bottom left
  4. You should see accounts listed, tap your Office 365 account that has the contacts you want
  5. Change the Sync contacts option so it’s enabled by tapping the switch for it

After you enable the Sync, you should have access to all your contacts from your Office 365 account!

Note: The screenshots are from the Android version of the Outlook mobile app but the steps are the same on the iOS version as well. Also note that the Sync contacts option is called Save contacts on the iOS version.
