Consent and Identified Purposes
We identify the purposes for collecting personal information at or before the time it is collected. We obtain consent where required by applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, the sensitivity of the information, and the reasonable expectations of the individual, consent may be express or implied.
You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide services where the personal information is necessary to deliver, administer, secure, or support those services.
If we intend to use or disclose personal information for a materially new purpose that was not previously identified, we will identify that purpose and obtain additional consent where required by law.

Cookies and Website Usage Information
We may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand how visitors use the website, maintain security, and improve performance. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect some website features. We may use technical information, including IP address, internet service provider, browser type, device data, and usage activity, to analyze trends, administer the website, and maintain security.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to trusted service providers that support our website, communications, payment processing, hosting, security, professional services, and delivery of requested services. We disclose only the information reasonably required for those purposes and do not authorize those providers to use it for their own marketing. We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, subpoena, or lawful request; to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; to protect rights, property, or safety; or in connection with a business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards. We may use and share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.
Some of our service providers may process or store personal information outside the province or country in which it was collected, including in the United States. When information is processed in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or national-security authorities. Wilkins IT remains responsible for personal information under its control and uses contractual and other measures appropriate to the circumstances to require service providers to protect it.
Safeguards and Retention
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity, amount, format, storage location, intended use, and foreseeable risks associated with the personal information. Access is limited to personnel and providers who need the information for authorized purposes. No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service delivery, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and legitimate recordkeeping. Backup systems and legal obligations may require limited residual copies to be retained for a period after deletion or deactivation.
Accuracy, Access, Correction, and Privacy Requests
We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information used to provide services or make decisions is accurate, complete, and current. You may request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, or request deletion or deactivation, subject to identity verification and applicable legal, contractual, security, and recordkeeping requirements. You may also contact the Privacy Officer with questions or concerns about our privacy practices. To make a request, please use the contact information at the top of this Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Links and Services
Our website and services may contain links to, or integrate with, third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website and revise the effective date above. If a material change affects how we use or disclose information for which consent is required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent as required by applicable law.
Mobile Information and SMS Privacy
When you provide a mobile telephone number or communicate with Wilkins IT by SMS, we may collect and retain your mobile number, message content, communication history, delivery information, and records of your consent, opt-out requests, and communication preferences. We use this information to conduct requested one-to-one business conversations, provide support, respond to inquiries, follow up on services, maintain communication records, and comply with legal and telecommunications requirements.
Mobile information, SMS consent, and opt-in data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information to Microsoft, telecommunications carriers, and service providers that help us deliver, route, secure, support, or maintain SMS communications, provided they may use it only to perform services on our behalf or as required by law. The other collection, use, disclosure, safeguarding, retention, access, and complaint provisions of this Privacy Policy also apply to mobile information.
Wilkins IT SMS Terms of Use
SMS Service
Wilkins IT offers SMS as an optional channel for low-volume, one-to-one business conversations with clients and other individuals. Messages may relate to an inquiry, support matter, service discussion, appointment, follow-up, requested action, or another existing business interaction. This SMS service is not used for bulk messaging, automated campaigns, advertising, or promotional marketing.
Wilkins IT’s SMS-enabled telephone numbers and messaging use cases are registered, where required, through Microsoft and its telecommunications partners in accordance with applicable carrier and 10DLC requirements.
Consent and Opt-In
Notwithstanding the general consent provisions of this Privacy Policy, Wilkins IT requires express consent before sending SMS messages. Wilkins IT sends SMS messages only to individuals who have expressly consented to communicate with us by text message. Consent may be provided through our website or another approved communication channel, including by expressly requesting SMS communication, agreeing to receive SMS messages, or initiating an SMS conversation with Wilkins IT. Merely providing a telephone number for general contact purposes does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages. By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and are authorized to consent. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies based on the conversation and your interactions with Wilkins IT. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. Wilkins IT does not charge a separate fee for this SMS service.
Opt-Out and Help
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. We may send one final message confirming your opt-out. After opting out, you will not receive further SMS messages from the applicable Wilkins IT number unless you provide consent again. For assistance, reply HELP or use the contact information at the top of this Privacy Policy.
Delivery and Availability
SMS delivery is subject to wireless-network and carrier availability and is not guaranteed. Messages may be delayed, blocked, or undelivered for reasons outside our control. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS should not be used for emergencies or matters requiring immediate attention. Please use the contact information at the top of this Privacy Policy to reach us through another available channel.
Privacy and Changes
Our collection and use of information associated with SMS communications is governed by this Privacy Policy, including the Mobile Information and SMS Privacy section above. We may update these SMS Terms of Use from time to time by posting the revised terms on our website and updating the effective date of this document. Changes will apply prospectively from the updated effective date. Where a change materially affects consent, message purpose, or the use or disclosure of mobile information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
